There have been a couple of changes in the order of the Projects to better work in with the Weekend Workshop dates. As well one or two others have bitten the dust to wait for 2023 when you will all be more proficient and may also have some more insight into design.
2022 will be a year where we will be tackling more technical embellishing. It is a full program. If you choose to do the project when it is listed, then you will be doing what is shown so that you can learn that technique.
Note the dates seem to cross over but the timing is: –
- Introduction Date: this is where you see the project and we have a talk about it. You can then turn the basic shape ready for the next date listed on the information sheet. You will probably be finishing off the previous project during this time.
- Working Date: these dates are to help you with the design and how to do the embellishment. Sometimes you will get an extra Friday as there is a weekend workshop in the mix and we do not meet on the Friday prior to a WeWs.
- Completion Date: this is the date when you bring in your piece, hopefully finished, but regardless of progress, it will give us a chance to discuss the piece and any problems that were experienced doing it.
