***** WARNING!! – Be cautious if you see any woodturning tools, chucks, welding gear and other portable tools being offered for sale locally.  We have been advised by a Mens Shed that they had a break-in recently where this type of gear was stolen.  There is CCTV footage of the thieves and the police are investigating, but if you see second-hand tools on sale then make careful enquiries, and let the police know if you think it is suspect. – WARNING!! *****

Welcome to WAWA

Welcome to the Woodturners Association of Western Australia. Our passion is the continued promotion of the ancient craft of woodturning. This is an ancient craft that is being continually enhanced by the inclusion of new processes and new equipment whilst still using timber as its inspiration.

If you’re an experienced woodturner or if you’re simply interested in knowing more about this craft this is where you start.

Our association has clubs located across Western Australia and each club is engaged in offering the members of the area access to equipment, skill enhancement and mateship all centred around woodturning.
